Just wondering if anyone can help me, or has been in a similar situation.

I am looking for House Insurance for rented accomodation. There are 4 of us and we have a joint tenancy agreement. We are all young professionals, working in Education or Charities.

I can only seem to get a quote from Endsleigh and its quite expensive. Has anyone managed to find a quote like this from anyone else?

oh and PS: we live near a river - would this affect us? ||| If you live near a river, you could be on a floodplain and therefore liable to flooding and higher insurance.

I live in a flat, alone admittedly, that is rented and I have home contents cover with More Than - they quoted me ¡ê132 and my stuff is covered to the value of ¡ê75,000.

Try looking on moneysupermarket.com or another scraper site such as confused.com to find cheaper insurance quotes.

I don't think we are on a flood plain, we live off the Thames?
