For the second time this year I have tried to claim on insurance policies for things I thought were covered to discover that they are not.

My latest one was when I was returning from Jersey airport to the UK mainland and my flight was cancelled and then rescheduled for 22 hours later.

My policy said that flight delays are covered but now after receiving a letter from my travel insurers, its only International flights!

Its not as if I can just nip back home in the car at 11pm at night!

Wont be renewing with Europ Assistance................ lesson learnt, study the small print!
