What address do you use for your limited company's registered office? Your accountants, home, work or a reg office service?
If you use a reg office service from a company, which company?
As it seems you're required to keep statutory books at your reg office address by law, how does this work if you're using a reg office service? Do you inform them of changes when they are made? Do you mail them the documents?

What address do you use for your limited company's registered office? Your accountants, home, work or a reg office service?

Often a mixture of the above (I am assuming that by work you mean your limited companies trading address not somewhere that you work for someone else:))
It can be advantageous to have it at your accountants as then the forms and correspondance from Companies House and HMRC go directly to them for them to deal with.

If at all possible I would not have the registered office as your home address. (If problems occurred and bailiffs were sent round they could very easily take your possessions unless you could prove that you owned them not the company:eek:)

If it at your accountants they will often create these records for you so they will also keep them on file. It is often part of the company secretarial service that accountants and other agents provide.:)

Alternatively if you do everything yourself then you could e mail/post the documents to them.

Registering the limited company registered office at your accountants is often the best solution

For your registered office facility that you provide, how do your clients manage/modify/add entries to their companies statutory register that should be kept at the registered office for the public to be able to look at?

They inform us of the changes that have been done or if need to be done as sometimes we perform the web-filings, etc.
