Plesase excuse my complete ignorance on this matter. :eek:
I am a partner in an LLP and I'm currently filling in the Partnership and my individual tax returns. Just browsing our LLP on companies house and I see this...
Accounting Reference Date: 30/09
Last Accounts Made Up To: (NO ACCOUNTS FILED)
Next Accounts Due: 19/07/2009
Last Return Made Up To:
Next Return Due: 17/10/2008
I had assumed that the 'Next return due' was the partnership tax return. If it is not then what is this and which forms do I need?
Cheers. =============
They are talking about a companies house annual return which is an entirely different matter. You haven't sent you tax return to Companies House have you?
You have to send your accounts to them by 19/07/2009 and they will shorly send you the annual return form. There are penalties for not filing the accounts on time but not for the annual return. =============

We are doing our tax returns online and we're OK about those.
So let me just get this straight....
for the bit that says: Next Return Due: 17/10/2008, That is the annual return and they will soon be sending us a form which we fill in and get back to them by that date?
And the other date (Next Accounts Due: 19/07/2009) is the one that we'll get nailed for if we don't get it in on time? =============
Yep, thats it. =============
Yep, thats it.
Thank you very much. ;) =============
