My husband called for a small business credit card the other day and specifically advised that he only wanted the business credit run for the application. He specifically did not give them his ss# but they told him that they needed his name and DOB for Patriot Act purposes. They turned around and ran his credit anyway. We contacted them to advise them that we had not approved this inquiry and they said that they would listen to the tape. We got a call back saying that he had approved, we asked to listen to the tape and were told we would get a call back. Didn't get a call back so we called again and said that we wanted to listen to the tape. They told us no and that they would not remove the inquiry.

We filed a complaint with the FTC but is there anything else that we can do??
